The work is based on interviews I did with 4 people in their mid forties, midlife so to say. How much in their life did they plan? What had been in their own hands? Or was it an illusion to think we could make life's decisions ourselves?
What you see is their hands, modelling a block of clay. I asked all of them among other things, to cut it in three and shape their lives 10 years ago, right now and their future.
